一、教材介绍
外语教学与研究出版社出版的《英语课程标准》，简称外研版的新标准英语。此书会一直贯穿小学的学习，并且严格按照《义务教育 英语课程标准》关于贯彻素质教育的理念编写，体现外语课程人文性和工具性的统一原则。在三年级的基础上新增了大约160个单词和短语，涵盖了日常英语类型大约10种。本学期将会学习两种小学最重要的语法知识（共四种时态），现在进行时和将来时。
我们都知道，语法类的时态学习是英语学习当中比较枯燥复杂的行为活动。相对来说，之前学过英语的孩子，现在学起来不会特别吃力，同样地，如果你现在不学好英语，那将来的初中学习也是不难想象的。咱们不能因为现在划片区入学而对小孩子的学习“不予重视”有心的家长会给孩子买些课外书或者报个兴趣班之类的，这样很好，请坚持下去！小学六年结束升入初中，你会发现坚持英语学习的孩子比他们轻松很多！前提是你也要督促好！
二、学生分析
三年级咱们同一起跑线上开跑，经过一年半的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些学生始终保持着学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思考，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，功亏一篑，导致他们出现听说困难，读写跟不上的情况。这其中还有些不努力，口头作业（每日一句）拖拉，书面作业拖欠，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差异。尽管他们平时他们的问题不大，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
三、课堂学习及表现
活跃先锋永远是博闻，仪骞，哲瑞，忠钊等。也正如你们所见，我常常不太点他们，因为他们都懂了，不懂犹豫不确定所以才不举手。所有他们基本上都是示范和帮助他人不能回答的问题。把机会留给更多有待提高的孩子们！我也知道新生的基础不扎实，但第一次月考成绩出来时着实把我吓了一跳。在我确定的“目标人群”后加大并抓紧了他们的学习，期中有了很大的改观！十分可喜的变化是杨静，芷欣，两位女生，从她们的读书声中你都可以感受到点滴的进步！老生中张辉、敬云、兴军、裕华等也都有进步，当然也有退步的。
四、课后反馈
现在任然有些家长的好习惯一直都在坚持，比如说作业的`签名---博闻，徳昊，仪骞，铭杰，哲瑞家长，比如说一直坚持让孩子读书---艺榛家长，在比如说会定期的和我了解情况的家长---定栓。如果你的孩子没有问题，你一直不和我联系也没关系，但如果本身孩子自身控制力就不行，又没家长的监管，不和我联系，你怎么知道？孩子考不好你也不要怪他。因为你也没对他负责过。其次就是，不要在孩子面前讨论分数，他们知道考试就意味着排名，分数直接反应老师和父母的变化。有的小孩子太看重分数高低了反而不好。考不好，他们也很难过，鼓励为主，外加帮助孩子克服困难。
五、如何帮助孩子提高成绩
听说读写的方法永远不落伍！听力考试分值30分。有大量的输入才有输出，在家里一定要大声跟着音频朗读教材，才能模仿纯正的语音语调。为什么要大声？这样才有利于清楚地表达自己，也有利于他人纠正自己的错误。这样就能锻炼到听说方面。
读写方面呢，主要是先积累在运用。背诵课文和单词都是一项基本功，背完就忘的现象和很正常，反复循环即可！除了可以积累一些日常用语，也能熟悉课文。但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。比如说孩子真的背不出课文，就降低难度，读顺在分段背，一幅图到两幅图再到全文。最好是分段的背完在来一次全文背诵。因为这样能帮他们加深上下文的理解和对情境的考察。考试时的情景交际(倒数第二题)就不会丢分如此多了。单词呢,也是如此，反复记忆，利用谐音，外形，读音等都是不错的方法，有条件的可以学习自然拼读法（音标，最不会遗忘单词的方法），单词认读有两种方式检查：一盖住英（中）文说中（英）文、二抄到本子上认读。单词的默写可以从现在开始，小范围内的实行，等到下学期开学，他们才不会觉得力不从心！

一、 期中检测情况
四一：考试人数52人，平均分96.85分以上48人，优秀率92.31%，70至84分4人，良好率为7.69%，100分的有18人。
四二班：考试人数62人，平均分92，85分以上55人。优秀率88.71%，70至84分2人，良好率为3.23%，60-69分的1人，不及格的4人。100分的有22人。
四三班：考试人数66人，平均分92，85分以上57人。优秀率86.36%，70至84分5人，良好率为7.58%，60-69分的1人，不及格的3人。100分的有13人。
四四班：考试人数64人，平均分88，85分以上48人。优秀率75%，70至84分9人，良好率为14.06%，60-69分的1人，不及格的6人。100分的有11人。
试卷分析：
1、 基础知识答题较好，失分率低，只有个别学生有错。比如第一大道题的看图片写单词，一个班有五六个有错，这些也都是平时单词听写不过关的学生。说到单词听写，每个单元学完会集中听写本单元的四会词句，也就是课本后面带星号的单词以及每单元中四线三格中的句子。每个单元基本上会听写三次。 较三年级词汇明显增多。课本后面词汇表中的黑色单词要求三会，即听说认读，带星号的单词达到四会要求，即听懂，会说，能够认识读出来以及听写默写会。我们都知道，单词是学好英语的基础，因此，过好词汇关是我们的首要任务。
2、 语言综合运用，句子的搭配有不同程度的'失分。比如卷子中的最后一题。考察对所学语言的理解，推理等综合应用。
主要是对所学句型的考查。句型多。纵观整套教材，三年级英语主要解决基本的语音语调问题，帮助学生积累较好的语音语调基础;四年级的英语主要解决识记单词和理解简单的句子的问题，帮助学生构建学习英语的重要的记忆方法、记忆策略的基础，帮助学习在以后的英语学习中打下较好的语法基础。细心的家长会发现，由于句型多，有的孩子经常会将学过的句型混淆：如一般疑问句会用上疑问词开头，单复数混淆现象更是比比皆是。
3、还有个别孩子答题习惯不好，重复选项，空题以及抄写错误。
虽然成绩不能说明一切，却可以反映一些您的孩子在学校里的学习和表现情况。因为孩子们都是从三年级开始正式开始学英语的，经过近两年的学习，他们之间已经有了一定的差距。有些学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头高，在课堂上积极思维，发言积极，课后也能及时复习和巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。也有一些学生，平时学习态度不认真，家庭作业拖延不交，口头作业根本不完成，基础不扎实，成绩不理想，学习对他来说自然就成了件头痛事，麻烦事。

二、几点建议与要求。
英语学习主要阵地是课堂，巩固是课外。即要做好家庭作业，英语作业主要就是听说读写四个方面。听录音，认读会，会背诵，四年级也不再是简单的抄写，会仿写句子等。
1.听课的习惯。
“向40分钟要效率”是每一位教师的追求，也是我们对每一位学生的要求。课堂上我们对单词的读音、记忆方法，新句型的讲解、练习、注意点都一一讲解，大部分学生学得轻松、快乐，所教单词课上就能掌握，句型也能熟练掌握，其诀窍也就是抓住了40分钟。但仍有个别学生听课习惯还停留在低年级水平，注意力只能坚持十几分钟，需要经常提醒，这样就会导致新单词读音都不能掌握，更别说当堂记住拼写了，语法知识更是一知半解。让每一位学生明白：课堂上浪费了一分钟，也许课后花十分钟、一小时也难以弥补。(建议家长经常性的跟老师进行沟通交流，询问孩子最近一段时间的听课情况，当然也可以反映孩子在家的表现和孩子自己的想法，这样便于双方反馈处理，作出合理的安排)
2、督促孩子坚持听录音
这需要有磁带，如果家里没有磁带，你可以到书店给孩子买一套，或是借一套，录制也可以，总之是孩子有音可听。离开了老师，磁带就是老师，跟着录音机，孩子就能自己学英语发音。录音的都是外国人标准的发音，比老师的发音要准确。
有的家长说孩子听不清，那是刚开始，对音还辨别不出来。每天坚持听，不多，十分钟即可。渐渐的，听音过程由听到模糊一片到能听清几个词，再到能听懂简单的一句话，最后连贯成一段文章。时间长了，单词之间的连读，断句都能听出来。就像听中国话一样，听完就知道是什么意思，在大脑里不经过翻译的过程。
每天坚持，不间断。可以两三天重复听一段内容，每天都让声音进入耳朵，大脑进行辨别。
3、督促孩子多读
读帮助孩子练习发音。我们在课堂上学习课文，尽量多给孩子时间读。孩子回家后还要读，不仅自己读，孩子跟录音读，确定自己发音是否准确。家长又时间可以听孩子读，多鼓励，表扬孩子读得好，是学语言的料。孩子读完签字，使得孩子没有偷懒的机会。
4、督促孩子勤写勤记
单词、句子还是要写写的，写使孩子对单词句子的印象更深刻。有些单词需要背过，句子也需要背过，并会实际应用;有些单词需要认识。写文章需要单词，实际交流需要单词构成句子，记得单词多了，组句子就不会困难，交流起来就顺利些。即使写了，没有背写过，对孩子也有帮助，最低他对单词的印象比较深刻了，应用起来得心应手。天天跟单词见面，即便不特意记也会记住。
针对具体孩子的情况，家长采取具体的办法。程度较好的孩子，家长每天过问一下即可，因为他们自己就会把作业完成甚至超额完成;程度不好的孩子，家长多费点心，多扶一扶，先陪着他们学，当习惯养成，再慢慢放手;对于那些一点基础都没有的孩子，我们把要求放到最低限度，孩子能学就赶紧给予表扬和鼓励 ，积少成多嘛。每天认一个单词，一个句子，两个月还能认60 个单词、60 个句子呢!60不是个小数目。所以只要学，就是慢点，也能学会。
5、作业的习惯。
在英语作业的布置方面，我们一贯坚持少而精的原则，针对当天所教的知识进行必要的读、写练习，以便及时巩固新知。但是，孩子在作业的书写、正确率、读背作业的完成方面均存在很大的差距。有的孩子书写一丝不苟且正确率高，有的孩子正确率尚可但书写龙飞凤舞，更有个别学生，组长跟他要作业如同“讨债”，能拖则拖，能赖最好，用这样的态度对待每天的作业，他的学习成绩就可想而知了。我想，督促孩子完成每天的作业对在座的每一位来说并非难事，绝大多数家长也确实做到了还做得非常好。
这里我还想特别提一提每天的家长签字，也许有家长认为每天都要签字实在太麻烦了，有时就懒得督促孩子读书，甚至不去细看当天的作业有哪些，提笔就给孩子签了。你不知道，你哪怕是偶尔一次有这样的做法，你的孩子也许就会有不止十次应付老师、应付家长的行为。采用家长签字这一形式，只是希望在老师和家长的共同督促之下，使学生尽快养成良好的作业习惯，尤其是每天读英语的习惯。而且只要有背诵的作业都需要签名，以便老师及时掌握学习情况，最好写清楚掌握到什么情况。比如已读熟，或已背诵，或哪个词不会读等等。实际上，我们班签字的情况不是很理想，每次都会有部分同学找各种理由推脱。所以建议家长及时检查过问孩子的作业情况，督促孩子按时完成作业，需要的时候签好您的名字，配合我们有效地开展工作。
三、经常与老师沟通。

其次，帮助孩子建立和形成良好的英语学习习惯。可以这么说，良好的学习习惯是英语学习成功的一半。什么是良好的学习习惯呢？良好的学习习惯分两部分：一是课堂习惯，二是课外习惯。课堂良好习惯表现为：能集中注意力听，能积极大胆发言，能适时的做好必要的笔记。集中注意力听这点我觉得很重要，很多孩子在做题和考试中遇到困难，很大的原因就是上课没有专心听课，“都是上课不听惹的祸”， “适时作必要的笔记”这一点，对与成人来说是相当简单的，而对与一个十几岁的小学生来说，却有意想不到的难。他们或者忙于写，或者什么也记不到，甚至会起到影响上课的反作用，但这是孩子为今后学习必须掌握的一项课堂技能。现在我的要求是我的讲的时候要求学生认真听，我会留出时间给孩子们记笔记，并且我会检查他们的课堂笔记。课外良好的习惯表现为：1。能完成老师布置的预习任务（预习的要求是听磁带朗读，把不会的单词，词组或句子利用书后的单词表查好意思），2。能按时，保质保量的.完成课外作业能自觉自发地进行听说读写的预习和复习工作；能自觉阅读和运用英语书籍（包括时代英语报、英语字典）。以上这些，其实是后续学习的预设，作用是不容忽视的。
再者，要关注孩子的学习过程，不要只注重结果。意思是说不要等成绩出来了再说，而是时刻关注孩子每一天的成长。所谓：好好学习，天天向上。一口吃不成胖子，一天养不成好习惯。比如说，每天，我们是否听到孩子大声地说或读英语，大声尤其重要，因为英语的语音较汉语来讲，比较夸张，声音小，容易造成发音不到位，错音也不容易被发现；每天是否听见孩子房中响起英语地课文录音；每天是否能听到孩子脱口而出简单地英语句子。我惊喜的发现我们的大部分孩子现在的朗读能力很强，一个个读的那么好，那么流利，那么有模有样，建议家长回家听一听你的孩子的英语朗读，你会和我一样有惊喜的感觉。
三、不仅要关心孩子身体健康，更要关注他们的心理发展。
兴趣、情感和态度等非智力因素对英语学习起着极其重要的作用。中低年级孩子往往兴趣很高，但到了高年级，随着难度加大，兴趣继而大大减弱，这很正常。因为中低年级的兴趣中最主要原素是好奇心，是最原始来得快，去得也快。只有通过认真，踏实、勤恳地学习得到成功地体验，才能形成更高层次的兴趣。兴趣有了，自然就有好的态度，饱满的学习状态，学习就进入良性循环。
这就是常说的：身心健康。
四、本学期几点具体做法，大部分是承袭三年级
1、关于单词和句子的背诵和默写。
这是基础之基础。每课的单词（包括B部分的单词和书后的单词表中蓝色部分的单词）要求学生能默写，要求学生回家背诵并试默，高质量的试默要做到及时、有效。当天教，当晚背，这是符合人脑遗忘规律的，效果要比过几天补好得多，这样课堂上默写的时候，学生就有底气，默写质量就很高，正确率高，也是一次小小得成功体验。久而久之，不仅打好了词汇基础，也培养了好习惯。这一点我们的大部分孩子能自觉做到并完成的很好，当然每个班级总有这样几个需要特别关注的孩子，需要老师给他们开“小灶”。开学初我在三一班找了上学期每天早上到我办公室默写单词的几个孩子闻他们这个学期还需要老师每天早上给你们默词吗？他们说不用了，他们现在可以自己完成了，我听了正是感到很欣慰，孩子们懂事了，知道学习是自己的事了，这是我们老师和你们家长最想看到的事。但是开学到现在我还是发现有几个孩子没有什么大的起色，我想和你们家长形成合力，让这些孩子也进入到自主学习主动学习的行列中，让他们也能尝到成功的滋味。
2、关于课文朗读，在这里我不强调背诵 关于限时朗读（略）
要求每篇课文A和E部分熟练朗读。C和D需要能看图说话
3、关于作业。
我们有1号本，2号本，回家作业本和补充习题，天天练，还有一份时代报。1号本是抄写本，抄写四会单词，词组，句子和部分对话，2号本是默写本，默写四会单词，词组和句子，补充习题，天天练我基本上在课堂上完成，并尽量做到面批，及时了解孩子们的掌握情况。时代报有一些题是非常不错的，我经常会选择题目让他们做，主要是考察学生如何答题，对语法知识的掌握情况，希望多见多做，达到熟练掌握的程度。孩子们应该是每天有回家作业的，常规的作业有背诵当天所学单词，句子，对话和课文，默写课文中出现的单词、词组、句子，或者完成时代报的练习。现在我们在每单元结束后都要进行单元测试，作为学生每一单元学习效果的一个反馈，每张试卷都希望家长配合能够签字，及时了解您孩子的学习情况，要求学生认真订正，找出自己的不足，及时对自己的学习进行调整。到现在已经进行了Unit2测试。
